Mirema School is a Private Primary and Junior Secondary School that was established in 1997.
The school is a non-denominational Christian School whose role is to support parents in fulfilling their biblical responsibility to educate their children.
We offer the Kenyan curriculum, with levels starting at:
- Preschool (Play-group, Reception, Pre-primary 1 and 2)
- Lower School (Grades 1-3)
- Middle School (Grades 4-6)
- Junior Secondary School (Grades 7-9)
We’re HIRING! MIDDLE SCHOOL TEACHER (MATHEMATICS & SCIENCE)
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in Mathematics and Science in accordance with the approved curriculum.
- Develop subject-specific schemes of work, lesson plans and instructional materials to support effective teaching and learning.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning styles and academic needs of learners across the two subjects.
- Collaborate with fellow subject teachers and the curriculum coordinator to plan and implement interdisciplinary projects and assessments.
- Provide clear explanations of concepts, practical demonstrations and real-life applications particularly in Science lessons, to enhance learners’ understanding and interest.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in ECDE or Education with subject specialization.
- 3 years’ relevant experience.
- TSC Registration.
- Valid certificate of good conduct.
