Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher
Durham Kenya delivers a UK curriculum, IGCSE and A Level, and there are currently over 50 nationalities enrolled.
Operated in partnership with Durham School UK, one of the UK’s oldest schools and a member of the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) and the HMC, the professional association of the Heads of the world’s leading independent schools.
Durham Kenya is an accredited member of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS) and a member of the Kenya Association of International Schools (KAIS).
The next bold and exciting stage of the School’s expansion is the planned opening in September 2025 of a new purpose-built campus which will house the Upper Prep School and the Senior School.

The closing deadline for applications is Thursday 24th July 2025. We would recommend that candidates apply at the earliest possible time.
Please be advised that an incomplete application form or
an application that does not provide a Covering Application Letter and Durham Application Form as stipulated may not be considered.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and initial interviews will be held online. Applications will be reviewed as they are received and the school reserves the right to appoint before the closing date of the advert.
Start Date
Candidates should be available to start in Nairobi in September 2025 or January 2026.
