Head of Learning Support Department
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Head of Learning Support to lead our Learning Support Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special educational needs (SEN) and a passion for ensuring all pupils, including those with diverse learning needs, achieve their full potential.

Job Description/Requirements
- Lead and manage the Learning Support Department, ensuring high-quality provision for pupils with SEN and learning differences.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and external specialists.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on inclusive teaching strategies and SEN best practices.
- Monitor and assess pupil progress, adjusting support strategies as needed.
- Liaise with parents, teachers, and external professionals to create a supportive network for pupils.
- Oversee the department’s resources, ensuring effective use of tools and interventions.
- Promote a culture of inclusion across the school, aligned with our Christian values.
Requirements:
-  Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Educational Needs, Psychology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a learning support/SEN role, preferably in a British curriculum school.
- Strong knowledge of SEN frameworks, IEP development, and inclusive education practices.
- Leadership experience in managing a Learning Support Department or SEN team.
- A committed Christian, able to integrate faith into the school’s ethos.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Desirable:
- Master’s Degree in SEN, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience with dyslexia, autism, ADHD, and other learning differences.
- Familiarity with British curriculum assessments and SEN interventions.
- Ability to mentor and train staff in inclusive teaching methods.
Key Stage 1 Teacher
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in British preparatory education, a heart for nurturing young learners in a Christ-centred setting, and the ability to actively contribute to our sports programme.

Job Description/Requirements
- Â Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons in line with the British National Curriculum for Key Stage 1
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports spiritual and academic growth
- Assess and monitor pupil progress using formative and summative assessment strategies
- Lead or assist in coaching sports (cricket, hockey, netball, rugby or football)
- Participate in school events and extracurricular activities
- Â Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- Minimum 5 years’ experience teaching Key Stage 1 in a British prep school
- Must be registered with Teachers Service Commission
- Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum for KS1
- Committed Christian able to integrate faith into teaching
- Ability to actively engage pupils in sports
Desirable:
- Experience in international/multicultural settings
- Training in phonics programmes (Read Write Inc., Jolly Phonics)
- Additional qualifications in SEN support
