About us
Brookhouse School is a mixed, non-selective, non-denominational, international all-through school with boarding in Kenya, serving students from the age of 2-19.
The all-through school is situated in Langata, Nairobi.
Brookhouse School follows the British National Curriculum, with pupils going on to sit IGCSE exams and International A levels, allowing for them to go on to study at university level anywhere in the world.
Facilities include music rooms, art rooms, a dance studio, sports grounds, sports courts and computer suites fitted with Apple Macs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare a structured programme of study for each class taught with clearly stated aims and objectives and with evidence of allowing for differentiation between students of different abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans and teach individual lessons.
- Mark class work and homework and assess achievement according to agreed Faculty policy.
- Contribute to curriculum development and assimilate elements of the British National Curriculum as appropriate
- Include in schemes of work elements of information technology in consultation with the IT department staff.
- Attend meetings, including parent consultation meetings, as required, scheduled, and/or necessary.
- Be involved in the duty rota, as scheduled.
- Ensure that the ethics of the school as expressed in the school philosophy are clearly reflected in your teaching.
- Cover for absent colleagues and invigilate examinations as required.
- Promote the image of the school.
- Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned to you by the Director and the Core Management Team.
