1. 1. Access the TSC Online Portal:

   Go to the TSC online portal at https://tsconline.tsc.go.ke/tsc-teacher/login. 
2. 2. Navigate to Deployment Section:

   Find and select the “Deployment to JSS” section within the portal. 
3. 3. Fill in Details:

   Complete the online application form with the necessary personal and professional information. 
4. 4. Upload Documents:

   Attach the required documents, including academic certificates (KCSE, Diploma, Degree), payslips, and other relevant documents. 
5. 5. Submit Application:

   After filling in all the details and uploading documents, submit your application. 

Eligibility Criteria:

• TSC Employment: Must be a currently employed primary school teacher under the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).
• Academic Qualifications: Generally, a minimum of a Diploma in Education is required, with a C+ at KCSE and C+ in two teaching subjects aligned with the JSS curriculum.
• No Disciplinary Issues: Must not be under interdiction or undergoing any disciplinary process.
• Expression of Interest: Must have indicated their interest in being deployed to JSS.

• The TSC may provide additional requirements or updates during the application process.
• The Ministry posts teachers with SNE qualifications to Special JSS.
• The TSC has emphasized online processing of applications and deployment-related matters.
