The American Community School of Abu Dhabi is a nonprofit American standards-based curriculum school serving approximately 1,315 students in KG1 through Grade 12 who represent more than 80 countries.

After 50 years on the Al Bateen campus, ACS has relocated to a state-of-the-art campus on Saadiyat Island.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree with a valid teaching certificate/license in relevant content area
Minimum of four years, full time teaching experience in relevant content area
Teaching experience in a standards-based, I-to-l digitally-rich environment (preferably in an
international setting)
Strong assessment practices in a standards-based environment
Relevant 1B and/or AP experience
Knowledge of the Understanding by Design framework and research based pedagogical practices in
relevant subject
