The HR & Operations Manager will play a dual role of leading the school’s human resource management and overseeing day-to-day operational functions to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant running of the institution.
The role is central to maintaining a high-performance culture, ensuring staff wellbeing, compliance with labor and education regulations, and operational excellence aligned with the school’s mission and values.
Responsibilities ( Human Resource Management )
- Develop and implement HR policies in line with labor laws and school culture.
- Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisals, and staff development.
- Handle employee relations, discipline, and maintain accurate HR records.
- Promote staff welfare, engagement, and a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and statutory regulations.
- Supervise support staff and manage vendors and service contracts.
- Support school operations, events, examinations, and budget control.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
- Professional HR certification (CHRP, CIPD, SHRM) is an added advantage.
- At least 5 years’ experience in HR or operations, preferably in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and operations management.
- Must have worked in a school set up ( is an added advantage
