Job Description
GEMS Winchester School Dubai is seeking an experienced and dynamic Deputy Head Teacher with a strategic focus on assessment, intervention, and school-wide data management. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on assessment and intervention strategies to improve student progress and attainment across the secondary phase.
- Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of student data to inform teaching, learning, and whole-school improvement.
- Implement and refine data-driven intervention programs to support students in meeting their academic potential.
- Oversee the design and management of the secondary school timetable, ensuring efficiency and alignment with curriculum needs.

Skills
Successful candidates will need to:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a relevant subject; a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership is desirable.

Job Description
GEMS Winchester School, Dubai, is looking to hire an Assistant Head Teacher for KS1 for AY 2025-2026, who will be responsible for supporting the leadership and management of the Early Years department. This role involves ensuring high-quality teaching and learning experiences for young learners, managing staff, and fostering an environment that supports the personal and academic development of the children
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to KS1 teachers and staff, including training and mentoring
- Support the development of a positive learning environment that is safe and nurturing.
- Monitor the day-to-day operations of the KS1 phase and ensure a high standard of teaching and care
- Ensure that the KS 1 curriculum is being delivered effectively and aligns with school standards
- Support teachers in planning and implementing creative, engaging, and developmentally appropriate lessons
