SENIOR MANAGER, SURGICAL SERVICES
Aga Khan University Hospital. Nairobi is a private not-for-profit
teaching hospital that provides tertiary and secondary level healthcare
services. It is the first hospital in East Africa to be accredited by the
Joint Commission International from the USA, The university Hospital
has been providing high quality care for the people Of East Africa and
beyond for over 60 years.
Applications are invited from appropriately qualified candidates for
the position of Senior Manager, Surgical Services.
The incumbent will work With the Director Of Surgical Services
to oversee and coordinate various administrative. operational
and organizational functions Within the Surgery and Anesthesia
Departments. S/he Will be responsible for evaluation of the clinical and
financial performance Of the Operating Room/Recovery Department
including provision of resources for high-level surgical care.
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s
Degree in Nursing Administration. Healthcare Management, or
Business Administration. S/he must be registered With or eligible
for registration with the Nursing Council of Kenya. S/he should have
certification in BLS and B minimum of five (5) years of continuous work
experience in a leadership position Within a healthcare Institution.
with a focus on Surgical Services, The ideal candidate should possess
excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a demonstrated
ability to lead a multidisciplinary team.
