About the school
Early Years Foundation Stage at Sahara International School follows the UK National Curriculum Framework, which believes that EVERY child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. Children develop quickly in the early years and a child’s experiences between birth and the age of five have a major impact on their future life chances. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important in its’ own right. Good parenting and high-quality early learning together provide the foundation children need to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.
Our academic curriculum has been based on the Cambridge framework which has its roots in the British National System of education. The Primary Checkpoint for stages one to six covers the core subjects of English, Math and Science. Additionally, the school has introduced a fourth subject – French – which together with the other three subjects forms the final grade. Our students develop essential skills in literacy, numeracy and scientific inquiry while covering a good knowledge base.
