Role Description

We are seeking dedicated P1 Teachers for a full-time, on-site role based in Bungoma.

In this position, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and supporting the holistic development of students.

Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, teaching aligned with the curriculum, evaluating student performance, and maintaining accurate records.

Collaboration with colleagues and regular communication with parents and guardians will also form a key part of your role.

Qualifications

• Must have a TSC number
• Must be cbc compliant
• Specialized in any or all of the following learning areas ( creative arts, mathematics, ICT, English)
• Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education methodologies
• Strong Communication skills for effectively engaging with students, parents, and colleagues
• Experience in Teaching and Training to support student learning and growth
• A passion for nurturing student development and fostering a creative, inclusive classroom
• Diploma or equivalent certification in education, specifically a P1 certificate or higher
• Familiarity with modern teaching aids and technology is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic teaching team
